Bio
Christina Lucia Giuffrida was born in Sydney, Australia, in 1990. She received a BVA from The Sydney College of the Arts, University of Sydney, in 2014 and her MFA from the New York Academy of Art, in 2018.
Giuffrida has most recently exhibited with Museum of Contemporary Art Long Island (Forthcoming), Plato Gallery (NYC), Rhodes Contemporary (UK), SoHo Revue (UK), Taymour Grahne (UK), Eve Leibe Gallery (Germany), Steven Zevitas Gallery (USA) and Collar Works (USA).
In 2026 Giuffrida’s work was featured in New American Paintings (North East), Issue #182, whose work was selected to be featured by American patron and art collector Beth DeWoody. Her work as has also been featured in Create Magazine, TOH Magazine and Peripheries Journal of the Harvard Divinity School.
She is a recipient of the Art Start Grant from the Australia Council and Emerging Artist Grant from the Ian Potter Foundation and has participated in residencies in Italy, USA and the Dominican Republic. Giuffrida works are held in the MACAAL Collection (Marrakesh, Morocco), the Beth Rudin DeWoody collection (USA) and the X Museum Collection (Beijing, China).
The artist currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York, with her wife Sophia and their dog Vito
